Amazon began offering several netbooks on sale under $300 the weekend. The offered netbooks are not your usual low-end netbooks with a 3-cell battery, they actually get 8 hours and more powerful batteries. Amazon offers free two-day shipping on these netbook deals, so they still arrive before December 24th.
The lowest priced netbook is the Acer Aspire One with a 6-cell battery, 250GB HDD and Windows 7 selling for $279.99.
For $299.99 you get the Acer AOD250-1584 with the more powerful Intel N280 Atom Processor, Wifi 802.11N and an hour more battery life than the above Aspire One netbook.
Leading the Amazon netbook sales charts though, is the Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17 Windows 7 netbook with 10.5 hour battery life on sale for $338.95.
