The new software update is webOS 1.3.5 build 194 Sprint Config 2.0. The update adds several enhancements to the device. One of the fixes in the new software is an improvement in battery life when in marginal coverage areas.
A fix for QCELP is included to allow the play of audio and video to be sent via MMS. Google maps and Sprint Nav can now be launched by tapping an address from contacts. The update also minimizes the package of MR size through binary difference allowing downloading over 2G when needed.
