The two firms report that for the year running from January to November game downloads were down 12% compared to the same time period last year. The company is also predicting that 25% of iPhone App purchases will come from locations other than iTunes or the App Store by the end of 2010.
Exactly how they think that is going to happen is unknown. Apple only sells through iTunes and I don’t see that changing. Apple likes to have control over its hardware and software.
