Last week we reported that Motorola would likely be purchasing a Super Bowl 44 spot. Now Android and Me reports (Via Advertising Age) that Motorola has purchased at least one ad. Since a 30 second spot sells for $2.5-3 million dollars this is a big investment for Motorola, It'll be cool to see our little green Android buddy at the big game. The firm they've hired to make the ad is Ogilvy Worldwide, the same team that created Moto's 2006 "Back Dorm Boyz" campaign. Now, the question is; what smartphone will Moto be pimping with this multi-million dollar ad? Will it be the Droid, or one of the two new smartphones they're expected to launch at CES 2010?
Update:
Motorola Super Bowl 2010 Ad gets teased on Video.
Just like last year, we will be featuring our Super Bowl for Geeks Guide for the Super Bowl 2010. Of course the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Ads and not the game.
