I am not a scuba diver, but I have been snorkeling before in Cancun and it was lots of fun. I can only imagine how cool it would be to scuba dive in such clear water. If you are a diver Liquid Image has announced a new video camera mask called the Wide Angle Videomask that will debut at CES next month.

The new Wide Angle Videomask model 312 is a mid size mask that records D1 video at a resolution of 720 x 480 at 30 fps. The mask can also shoot 5MP still images as well. the new mask is rated for a depth of 65 feet.

The camera has 16MB of internal NAND flash for recording and has a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 16GB for extra storage. 16GB will record about 5.33 hours of video. The camera operates on a pair of AAA batteries good for up to 2.2 hours of video. The MSRP of the mask is $200.
