Vizio Launches Mobile TVs At CES 2010

This may be the Year of 3D and the Year of the Tablet, but it would also be accurate to call it the Year of DTV. 2010 will mark the first time wireless TV on the ATSC-M/H standard has been available in the U.S., and a ton of companies are expecting wireless broadcast TV to become hugely popular. Vizio has just thrown its hat into the ring with their new Razor LED mobile TV sets, scheduled to launch later this year.These Razors will be available in three screen sizes. The VMB070 is a 7", $149 budget model. The 9" VMB090 has HDMI 1.4 output and will cost $199, while the VMB100 has a 10" screen and also sports HDMI for $229. All three of these machines have a depth of less than 1". On battery power alone, these devices are good for around 3 hours. They come with antennas that you can extend to improve reception, ensuring today's children will have a chance to fiddle with the TV the same way their parents did.
