MSI has announced a new special edition of its Wind netbook called the U135. The new machine is the first form MSI to use the Intel Pine Trial platform with the Aton N450 CPU. The netbook will ship in several colors including silver, charcoal, ruby, and sapphire.
The machine can be had with either 160GB HDD or a 250GB HDD. The N450 CPU offers no real performance gaining in the netbook world, but the CPU sips power making it last longer in battery life. The netbook runs Windows 7 Starter edition.
MSI is using a new keyboard in the U135 with 20% larger keys and a chicklet design offering better typing feel. The case of the netbook uses color film for lasting color. The machine also has three USB ports, a 1.3MP webcam, memorycardreader and more. It will sell for $309 to $329.
