A touchscreen smartphone without multi-touch gestures is just not acceptable today. Now finally Google took heart and risks annoying Apple by enabling multitouch on the Nexus One with a software update.
The Nexus One will now include a new pinch-to-zoom mechanism in the phone's Browser, Gallery and Maps applications.

Other new features include Google Goggles, Google Maps 3.4 with new features and improved 3G connectivity.
