Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies launched the world's first personal hydrogen fuel station at the CES 2010.
Today Horizon unveiled a new world's first hydrogen fuel cell power system for hobby-grade radio controlled vehicles. The new H-Cell 2.0 is compatible with the model-scale hydrogen refueling stations.
The new add-on kit replicates the function of real-scale zero emission hydrogen cars currently being developed by the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. You can watch a video of the H-Cell 2.0 radio controlled car in action below (the cars are fast).
The new fuel cell power kit for model scale RC racing will be unveiled to hobby professionals and enthusiasts at the upcoming Feb 3rd-9th Nuremberg Toy & Hobby Fair.
The H-Cell 2.0 starts shipping on March 15th. Pricing for end consumers has not been revealed yet. If you are into building powerful model race cars consider going green with the H-Cell 2.0.
