Sometimes a manufacturer will decide to make a hybrid of two wildly different devices that don't really go together at all. Take the Tomato T99. It is a mini-media player, as well as a shadow-controlled surveillance camera. This little gadget sports a 1.3 MP camera that can be used to monitor an area. When it goes a minute without seeing any change in its surroundings, the camera turns off. As soon as it senses movement again, the camera activates.
Outside of spy-functions, the T99 is a media player with 2GB of internal memory and the ability to eat a 16 GB memory card. It can play video and music files, too. If you want a hybrid surveillance device/PMP, this one can be yours for just $59.99. Order here for peace of mind and a gadget to rock out with.
