The USA Today Ad Meter is basically the Oscars for Super Bowl commercials. 2010 marks the 22th time USA Today unveils the Super Bowl ad ranking based on a panel of select adult viewers.
Usually the results come out on Monday following Super Bowl Sunday (see the 2009 Ad Meter Results). The new 2010 USA Today Ad Meter is going to offer real-time ratings during the game for the first time. You can see the second-by-second panel responses to the Super Bowl 2010 ads for each Super Bowl ad that aired. This will be pretty awesome.
Update:
The USA Today Ad Meter 2010 results are in, Snickers wins.
Additionally you can also throw in your vote on the Super Bowl 2010 commercials in the new USA Today Ad Meter app.
The fun starts after the first quarter of the Super Bowl XLIV (see our Super Bowl XLIV FAQs for times). You will be able to watch the first batch of ads and see the realtime ratings and of course re-watch the ads you have already seen during the broadcast so far.
More Super Bowl ads will be published as they air during the game.
You can already check out the new 2010 USA Today Ad Meter and watch the winners of past years here. We have already published videos of the first 12 Super Bowl 2010 Commercials.
Just like last year, I4U News is featuring the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl
2010 for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game. The Super Bowl XLIV takes place on Sunday, February 7th in Florida in the Sun Life Stadium.
