Macworld 2010 has Half the Exhibitors but David Pogue
Macworld got really quite. Apple's absence changed the Macworld 2010 to a smaller more intimate gathering geared towards the hard core Apple community.
The MercuryNews has a report that captures some of the impressions from attendees. If many of them come back to the Macworld 2011 is questionable. Macworld is not a must
The Macworld Expo is expected to see 30,000 visitors instead of 90,000 it once had.
SFGate reports that there are also entertaining moments at the Macworld 2010. David Pogue opened Macword in show dubbed Late Night with David Pogue.
There are also still Macworld Expo 2010 Best of Show winners. Macworld has the list of winners.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
