Macworld got really quite. Apple's absence changed the Macworld 2010 to a smaller more intimate gathering geared towards the hard core Apple community.
The MercuryNews has a report that captures some of the impressions from attendees. If many of them come back to the Macworld 2011 is questionable. Macworld is not a must
The Macworld Expo is expected to see 30,000 visitors instead of 90,000 it once had.

SFGate reports that there are also entertaining moments at the Macworld 2010. David Pogue opened Macword in show dubbed Late Night with David Pogue.
