General Mobile isn't exactly the biggest name in smartphone manufacturing. They don't put out many phones, but they have managed to secure themselves a decent reputation. Android and Me reports that the company brought three new devices to the MWC. The first of these was the Cosmos, a low-end smartphone with a 624 MHz Marvell CPU, 128 MB of RAM, 256 MB of ROM, and a 3.2” display.
We don't know anything about the Cosmos 2, save that it is likely meant to be a mid-range smartphone. GM's high-end offering will be the Touch Stone, a beastly smartphone with a 4.3” screen and...the same processor as the Cosmos? Details are scarce right now, so that will likely end up changed before too long. Why would GM want a dinky little processor in their flagship device?
General Mobile makes the dubious claim that all of these devices (even the Cosmos) will ship with Android 2.0+. They will also all have access to StoreOid, GM's proprietary app store.
