Got a wedding? How about a prom? Some other formal event? Just hit the "Tuxedo App" on your iPhone.
Meridian LLC, a formal wear retailer that has storefronts in 33 states, has released an app for the iPhone that allows users to select their vest/tie/tuxedo combination from anywhere, and then find the closest participating dealer that can fulfill the order.
In addition to mapping out directions to the store for your next tux, users can also send the details of their custom-made outfit to anyone through e-mail. There is no order transmission to the store, however. Meridian suggests that you visit "a qualified dealer and [show] them exactly what you want right from your iPhone or iTouch."
There is also a more simplified, mobile Web-based site that gives users access to the same kind of on-the-go information. That can be found at MyTuxHerColor.com.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
