Either this is another case of corporate braggart-ism, or Samsung has truly come unhinged. PMP Today reports that the company has stated it expects 10 million Samsung Waves to sell in 2010. Seriously Samsung, 10 million? What are you smoking and how much does it cost by the ounce?
For those kind of numbers, the Wave would have to hit the ground with as much initial popularity as the iPhone. More, even. This will be a worldwide launch, so it's possible I'm just underestimating Sammy's popularity overseas. Samsung also aims to have 1,000 Bada apps out by the end of 2010, which would make a great start for the Bada app store.
Do you think Samsung is being overconfident? Or is Bada going to be as much of a game changer as iPhone OS was? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
