With phones like the Droid and gained quite a bit of traction in the smartphone race, but now Apple is trying to crush HTC's Dreams by filing a patent infringement lawsuit.Apple filed the claim today, accusing HTC of infringing on 20 of its patents, specifically ones relating the the iPhone's user interface and hardware.
HTC, which had been mildly successful as an overseas phone manufacturer, first landed stateside success with the T-Mobile G1. All of its phones have touch-screen capability.
The suit has been filed in US District Court as well as with the US International Trade Commission.
