I need to know, T-Mo. What was wrong with the word 'neuron'? Was it too long? Do you just hate spelling things the right way? Or was 'neuron' not 'hip' and 'with it' enough for all the teeny-boppers you're trying to court?
Whatever the reason, the Nuron is coming to T-Mobile pretty damn soon. BGR reports that Nokia and T-Mobile have both officially acknowledged the Nuron. This candybar phone will cost $69.99. It has a 3.2” touchscreen display, GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, and WCDMA 1700/2100. It has a 2 MP camera with 3X digital zoom and recording, Bluetooth 2.0, aGPS and Ovi maps, the Ovi Store, and a microSD slot (16 GB).
The Nuron also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. It'll launch some time in the near future, although the date is not available yet. Again, the cost is expected to be $69.99 with a 2 year contract. $179 if you want to buy it outright.
