The drive has a 320GB capacity and is designed to connect directly to USB port wielding devices like TVs, DVRs, Blu-ray players and other devices. The hardware of the drive is optimized for streaming content.
WD says that the drive is compatible with the Sony Handycam camcorder Direct Copy feature and can connect directly to Sony Blu-ray players for playback. The new drives have a 2-year warrant and the 320GB version is $109.99.
