The Apple Store is down hours before the Apple iPad pre-order is supposed to start. As reported earlier Apple is launching the Wifi iPad pre-order at 8:30am EST.
It is still hard to say how high the demand for the iPad will be. Earlier reports talked about shortages. It will also be interesting if Apple can manage to keep the site up, once the iPad pre-order is up.
If you order the Apple iPad today you will get it on April 3rd.
If you want a 3G iPad you can lean back today and wait until April.
