Walmart Sells HTC HD2 Early

Last week we talked about the HTC HD2 smartphone and the fact that it is set to land this week in stores around the country. Apparently, one Walmart store has jumped the gun and sold the device early to some geeks lucky enough to be in the store.

One geek that grabbed up his own HD2 picked it up Sunday at Walmart in Vancouver Washington and tossed up a YouTube video unboxing just to tease fellow geeks unlucky enough to not have a local Walmart where workers don’t care about things like launch dates.

The smartphone should be a popular device, assuming the T-Mobile network in your area is up to par. T-Mobile around me certainly isn't. Their coverage hardly extends from major highways in many parts of Texas.
