Patriot is a big name in storage and enthusiast memory for computers. The company also has a line of flash drives and has added a new offering to its wares called the Bolt. The Bolt flash drive is a secure drive with 256-bit AES encryption.

The flash drive is also very fast with up to 30MB/sec of read speed and 12MB/sec writes. The drive can be had in 4GB to 64GB capacities and is TAA compliant.

In addition to the AES encryption for data the Bolt also uses 512/2048-bit RSA engine for user authentication. The Bolt uses a durable aluminum housing and can be set to wipe all data from the drive in the event of ten failed authentication attempts. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
