April 12th could be the day that sees the first universal jailbreaking solution for the entire iPhone OS line. Redmond Pie reports that a new group of hackers named “TheiPhoneDevTeam” have posted a video that shows an untethered, jailbroken iPhone.
Their new 3.1.3 jailbreak will be released on April 12th and will work on all iPhone OS devices, including the iPod touch and iPad. This software should be able to jailbreak your gadget in around three minutes. MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev-Team has declared them a fake for not following all of the traditional rules for a jailbreak video. We'll see on Monday if he was right.
