Maingear Updates Shift for Creative Pros

Maingear is very serious when it comes to their high-end Shift workstation. The firm offers a wide range of models for the Shift that suits the needs of different types of users. The latest Shift model is aimed at the creative pro using Adobe CS5.

The Shift can be outfitted with as many as three NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics cards allowing a GPU accelerated Adobe Creative Suite for improved design power. The machine uses a vertical heat-stack design to keep all those video cards cool.

The Adobe CS5 software features lot of GPU acceleration options to make the software run faster. Several CS5 zoom features, 3D modeling, and more are GPU accelerated if your video card is up to it. The base price for the Shift kicks off at $3,399.
