French news site Archos Lounge has managed to come across photos of Archos CEO Henri Crohas on his visit to China. He was there to introduce his partners to the Archos Generation 8. These tablets are due out at the end of summer 2010.
Don't Miss: The NES Classic In Stock at these Stores
As best we can tell, Generation 8 is to be a line-up of 6 different tablets, ranging in size from 3” to 10”. These tablets will contain ARM Cortex 800 MHz to 1 GHz processors, 3G OpenGL 3D acceleration, and multitouch. They are said to be priced between $100 and $350.
The tablets in that photo are likely just renders, resized versions of the same product. Archos has a bit better design sense than to launch six products that are totally identical in all but size. Another leaked ad shows the picture-frame Archos Tablet 8 Home as a member of Gen8.
