Read comics, search through thousands of comic book articles, and check when and where the latest conventions will be, all with a brand new version of one of the geekiest apps on the iPhone.
Comic Book Bin, a popular online destination for comic-related content, has released the second generation of its self-titled iPhone app. Users can browser through comic book art and read through all sorts of related content.
Comic news, reviews, and interviews are all available through the app, giving users access to more than 10,000 articles. Additionally, there's a comprehensive listing of comic book conventions as well as a geo-searching feature to find the nearest comic store.
"The iPhone, no matter how much other smart phones have advanced since the launch of the original version from Apple, is a symbol for the new way people consume information on mobile devices," said Comic Book Bin founder Herve St-Louis.
The new version of the app optimizes the article search feature and the way that all content is displayed.
