iPad 3G to launch in US on April 30

Well folks here in the UK will have to wait about another month to get hands on the iPad WiFi version thanks to the delay. That delay is claimed to be because of an issue with screen supplies.

While the UK waits to get the iPad, geeks in the US will be able to get their hands on the iPad 3G version on April 30. The new 3G version also brings with it a cool new data plan offering from AT&T needing no contracts and orderable directly from the iPad.

Exactly when the 3G version will land in the UK is up in the air. If screen delays really are the cause once that is fixed the devices will turn up for European geeks.
