If you've been looking to upgrade your computer to USB 3.0 compatibility, you're about to get your shot. Fudzilla reports that Patriot has just expanded their USB 3.0 line-up. They've added a PCI-Express x1 controller, an ExpressCard controller, and the Gauntlet USB 3.0 enclosure.
The Gauntlet enclosure supports one 2.5” drive and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. The two controllers allow you to add in SuperSpeed USB 3.0 support to your (currently) lacking motherboard. These products should be out for retail soon; pricing information has not yet been released.
