Japan has since years been the cell phone wonderland. A new report from MMRI (via Electronista) says that the iPhone dominates the Japanese smart phones market with a share of 72.2%.
In the overall cell phone market Apple is still far behind Sharp, Panasonic and NEC. I think the Japanese consumer is prone to also fall for the vast iPhone Apps Wonderland and iPhone adoption will continue to rise.
