Who wouldn't want to be Iron Man? Aside from the alcoholism and occasional brushes with horrible death, Tony Stark lives a pretty sweet life. He's got babes, money, mansions, and (best of all) the coolest gadgets on the planet. The Stark HUD 2020 glasses may not be coming out for another decade, but you can see how you'd look inside Iron Man's armor today.

Make sure your webcam is working and visit the above link. You'll be able to see what you'd look like in either War Machine, or Iron Man's helm. You can also get inside the helmet and check out a view that (until today) was only available to Mr. Stark. Take videos of yourself playing with the HUD or ranting while dressed as war-machine, then post them to a social media site like Facebook or Twitter.

While the War Machine and Iron Man heads look a little silly (AR technology has only come so far) the HUD view is actually really cool. And gesture-sensitive! Maybe someone will bring an armored exoskeleton to CES 2011...

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
