The Apple iPad is exactly the device you want to take in bed with you to do some reading and maybe catch up on your email. The LA Times reports today that this might not be a good idea.
Unlike e-Paper devices like the Kindle, the iPad has a very bright screen. You basically stare at “the sun” before trying to go to sleep. Your body will not flood with melatonin say several sleep experts.
There might be some truth to it, but every person's sleep habit is very different. I can also influence my sleep with the kind of book I read. Right now I am reading The Big Short by Michael Lewis. The first night I had really strange nightmares. Now it actually works well, despite the fact that the whole financial melt down is a damn crazy story.
The "magical" Apple iPad is here. Buy yours on the Apple Store. I4U News brings you all the rumors and news around the new category defining Apple product.
