Microsoft has some very ambitious plans for the Kin. Verizon/Vodafone may not be the exclusive carriers for both new devices for long. MobileCrunch reports that a ROM hacker named Conflipper has put up screenshots from an early copy of the Kin OS. He managed to find a list of provisioning files for other carriers.
Provisioning files contain setting information for specific networks. The Kin's full dump of these files can be found here. For your convenience, we've reproduced them below;
AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Fido (Canada), China Mobile, China Unicom, O2 (Germany, UK), T-Mobile (Germany), Vodafone (Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, UK), DoCoMo (Japan), Softbank (Japan), Telia (Sweden), Three (Sweden), and Orange (UK). Ambitious!
