Brothers and sisters, the promised day is at hand! Asus has finally made an honest gadget out of the Eee Keyboard and officially acknowledged its existence. Half-tablet, half-keyboard, this product has had Asus marketing execs scratching their head for a while. The Eee Keyboard has seen numerous delays, but you can buy it now at Amazon.com for $599.99.
The official specs include an Atom N270 processor with an Intel 945GSE chipset. It has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, and either 16 GB or 32 GB of SSD storage. There are two speakers, a built-in mic, b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, a Broadcom video decoder, and a battery that gives it 4 hours of use. You'll control your Eee Keyboard through either HDMI, or a 5” multitouch panel.
