Apple has stated already that it has sold a million of the iPad devices since it launched in the US. O2 will be offering iPad data plans for £10 monthly with 1GB of data, £15 for 3GB of data, and £2 for a day with 200MB of data use. Several other plans will be offered as well.
The iPad will cost UK fans more than those in the US are paying. The iPad starts at £429 in the UK with US prices starting at the equivalent of £355. Apple claims the difference is mostly thanks to VAT.
