The processor is called the core i5-580M according to a leaked roadmap and will be a mid-range processor. The clock speed is said to be 2.66GHz and it will need 35W of power in operations and use Turbo Boost technology.
The part is said to be the same CPU as the existing mobile Core i7 processor, but the coming Core i5 part will only have 3MB of L3 cache compared to the 4MB of cache the i7 part uses. Speculation is that when the new part lands the existing Core i7 part might get a speed boost to 2.8GHz to set it apart.
