Asus also unveiled the new BW-12B1LT Blu-ray 3D optical drive alongside the VG236H 3D LCD display. The optical drive has a very cool feature that lets any 2D film be converted into 3D with the press of a button. The 3D display has a 120Hz refresh rate and the optical drive can write Blu-ray discs at 12X speed.
Asus also pulled the wraps off a new VT22 multitouch monitor. The screen supports gesture control for Windows 7 and lets the user navigate the system using a finger rather than a mouse. Other new items at the show include Cine5 PC speakers with 5-channel audio and a new Xonar Xense Sennheiser PC350 Xense Edition bundle of a sound card and high-end headphones. Pricing and availability on all of the items is unknown.
