Nike has teamed up with Polar to offer a new heart rate monitor that is on a chest strap and wraps around the users chest. The system works with the Apple Nike+ apps on the iPhone and can track heart rate information for you. The system is also compatible with all Polar heart rate equipment at the gym.
The Polar WearLink+ for Nike+ will be available starting this month in the US for $69.99. The strap can survive sweat, rain, and splashed but is not suitable for swimming.
