Froyo Coming To myTouch 3G

Good news for all of you folks with myTouch 3G Android smartphones. Android 2.2, aka Froyo, will be coming soon to a phone near you. T-Mo News has come across an official bulletin from T-Mobile itself. The piece makes it clear that Android 2.2 is on its way.

“Coming soon, we plan to update existing myTouch 3G phones-not just our new Slide-to the latest software version, Android 2.2.”

There you have it. Rejoice!
