Apple fans all around the country are happy because the Mac mini finally got a nice upgrade. There are many folks who will buy the new unibody mini and then update the RAM themselves to save some money.

NewerTech has announced that it is now offering RAM upgrades for the new mini of up to 8GB. The RAM is the proper and compatible NuRAM stuff that the new mini needs. The stuff is DDR3 and RoHS compliant.

It is speed rated at PC3-8500 and is non-ECC. The RAM exceeds Apple and Intel specs for RAM in the mini and can be had in a 4GB kit. Both kits operate at 1066MHz. The 4GB kit is $134.99 and the 8GB kit is $249.99.
