Besides the Sprint Epic 4g another Samsung Galaxy S phone gets unveiled today. T-Mobile will launch the Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S phone next month.
There was some confusion in the rumor mill leading up to today's unveiling of the new Galaxy S phones by Samsung. Rumors only talked about a new Galaxy S phone. Now we know Galaxy S is a sub-brand from Samsung for phones offering a premium screen (aka Super AMOLED), speed and content features.
Features of the Android 2.1 running Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S phone include 4-inch Super AMOLED display, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, 6-axis sensor, HSPA+, 5-megapixel camera with digital zoom and autofocus and the cool Swype text input.
The Samsung Vibrant comes fully loaded with exclusive entertainment features including James Cameron’s Avatar on an included 2GB external memory card and an exclusive collector’s edition of a popular game. The Vibrant also brings the Amazon Kindle for Android application with access to more than 600,000 books, MobiTV with live and on-demand TV, and much more.
The Samsung Vibrant and its exclusive pre-loaded entertainment content is expected to be available to T-Mobile customers beginning July 21 for $199.99 with new 2-year contract.
You can get notified about the availability of the new Samsung Vibrant on this T-Mobile site.
