iPad owners (and everyone else, really) rejoice! Hulu has just made Hulu Plus official. The New York Times reports that additional episodes of various TV shows will be available to customers via a monthly subscription service called Hulu Plus. $9.99/ month buys you full access.

Recent episodes of shows will stay free. Hulu Plus will be available to customers through their iPhones, iPads and certain TV sets. Full current seasons of on air shows will now be available to Hulu Plus subscribers, as will the full series of many older shows (Arrested Development). If you'd like to be one of the first folks to give Hulu Plus a try, you can sign up for an invite now.
