It's been a sad saga for new Evo owners over the last couple of days. A routine update ended up installing twice on certain devices, turning them into useless bricks. HTC recalled the update and has now reissued it, according to Engadget.
This new update is supposed to improve battery life and WiFi, as well as fix certain issues that have cropped up with exchange. If you already downloaded the update, you don't need to download this one as well. The only difference between the two is that this one can install twice without murdering your smartphone.
