On stage at today's iPhone 4 event Steve Jobs has just announced Apple's solution to the iPhone reception issues. While he made a big point of stating how minor the issues were and bragging about the new iPhone Jobs also had a solution in mind that is hard to argue with.
From now until September 30, every person who buys an iPhone 4 will be entitled to a free case. If you already purchased a case, Apple will give you a refund. The free cases won't only be bumpers either (apparently Apple can't get them made fast enough), Apple will offer a variety of choices that will be up on their website late next week.
If that isn't enough for you, Jobs also announced that they will be offering full refunds. Just take your undamaged iPhone 4 back to the store and all of your money will be returned. There won't even be a restocking fee.
As Steve said, "When we fall short, we pick ourselves up, figure out what went wrong and try harder".
