Big Red may be ready to do battle with Sprint's 4G network way ahead of schedule. We expected to see their LTE network go live at some point in 2011, but now news from Engadget puts the launch at or around November 15th. Initially, the network will be limited to two data card products.

LTE will launch in “over” 30 markets. New York, LA, Chicago and Philadelphia are all that has been tipped so far, although ten airports will also have access to the service. Poor they'll have to fight to stay kings of the mountain.
