PNY has just unveiled a new line of SSDs. These 2.5" drives are drop-in ready and perfect for slapping in your laptop or desktop. The Optima Series (via iTechNews) comes in 64 GB and 128 GB capacities, either of which are more than enough to hold your OS and all the apps/games you want to run more speedily.
These drives have 64 MB of cache memory and offer 220 MB/s read speeds and 100 MB/s write speeds. It supports TRIM, uses the SATA II interface and is backwards-compatible with SATA. The 64 GB Optima will set you back $145.80, while the 128 GB version is $239.67. You can get them from Amazon.com now.
