Although the first DJ Hero game got a resounding "meh" from the gaming community, Activision is not backing down from turning the sequel into all it can be.
Today, Activision announced that Tiesto, a DJ who has worked with such top artists as Justim Timberlake, Muse, and Sean Kingston, will be creating exclusive mixes for DJ Hero 2.
"DJ Hero 2 is all about bringing people of different backgrounds, ages and music tastes together to have some fun DJ'ing their favorite music. The way the music comes together is fresh and unique and as a DJ, I couldn't ask for more than that," said Tiesto in a press release.
The new DJ Hero game will be available as a standalone disc as well as in a bundle with the turntable controller. The first DJ Hero bundle was arguably overpriced, so Activision will likely be trying to bring that cost down for the DJ Hero 2 bundle, although no price or release date has been announced.
The new installment will, like its predecessor, be able on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
