Oracle is suing Google over Android
 
 
Oracle has announced that they filed a suit against Google over Android. Oracle says Google is infringing on copyrights and patents related to Java. Oracle bought Sun last year and now owns Java.
I am not a fan of technology patent lawsuits. They have rarely merits for consumers. Of course companies need to protect their intellectual properties, but with software patents it gets murky.
