Black Friday 2010 TV Deals Predictions

Black Friday 2010 is theoretically still over three month away. In reality the Black Friday 2010 deals will start appearing most likely earlier than last year. Last year the Black Friday deals started end of October. These early Black Friday deals have been in several cases even better than what you could get at the actual Black Friday. This year a lot of hot product releases for Fall are already launching in September or are already available. Retailers will aim at maximizing the Black Friday sales hype and I could imagine to see the first Black Friday Sales events in mid-October.
Update:
The first Black Friday 2010 TV Deals are here.

Especially in the TV segment it will pay off to monitor the offers very early on. While in the end phase of Black Friday bargain TVs that maximize the screen-size to price factor will be the main attraction, I see retailers offer interesting 3D TV and LED TV deals before Friday, November 26th (Black Friday).

If you are serious about 3D, you need to focus on deals of the high-end 3D TVs from vendors like Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and LG. (e.g.: LG 55LX9500 or Samsung UN55C8000) The 3D quality varies quite a bit between the different models. If you just see 3D as a gimmick for occasional 3D viewing than you can look at the mid-range offerings.

LED LCD TVs will get yet again much more affordable this Holiday shopping season. If Plasma is not your style (I still love the image quality of Plasma) then LED backlight is the way to go. Of course 240Hz (find 240Hz TVs on Amazon) is adding another level of image quality that is worth while to invest in.

The best Black Friday TV deals are again to be expected from Best Buy, Amazon and Walmart.

Update: The Samsung PN50C490 is possibly the bargain 3D TV for Black Friday 2010.
