Samsung has had the original S2 external HDD on the market for a long time now. The original drive connected to a computer via USB 2.0 and could be used for all manner of computer tasks. Inside the colorful little case is a 2.5-inch Samsung HDD.
The HDD inside has Samsung tech like SilentSeek, NoiseGuard, and Dynamic Balancing technology to reduce the noise output from the storage drive. The HDD is a 2.5-inch 7200rpm unit with good performance.
You can get the S2 with 320GB or 640GB capacity and they will ship this month in Europe. The drive has much faster USB 3.0 connectivity to make backups faster and has auto backup software included.
