Skitterbot Micro Robots Are Fast

A company called Desk Pets has announced a cool new RC toy for kids and adults who like RC stuff. The robot toys are called Skitterbots and look like bugs with six legs.

The Skitterbots come in green, blue, red, and clear colors all selling for $19.99. The toys will be offered at Radio Shack and Toys R Us locations soon. The toys use internal rechargeable batteries that are good for 15 minutes of play after a 30-minute charge.

The Skitterbot is supposed to be the fastest legged RC bug around at a speed of one foot per second. That is very fast. The bugs can be set to four different frequencies to allow up to four people to play at once.
