HP is on a roll today with new notebooks and netbooks. The second new netbook offering unveiled is the Mini 5103. This netbook has a 10.1-inch screen available in optional HD resolution. It weighs 2.64 pounds in its lightest form and is designed for the mobile pro and students.

The netbook uses the Atom N550 CPU as an option and can be fitted with the N455 and N475 depending on the preferences of the user. The machine is also available with a touch-enabled version. The small machine has a 95% full-size keyboard and trackpad.

The netbook can be optioned with the Broadcom HD video decoder card allowing smooth playback of HD video. Run time is claimed to be 10 hours and 15 minutes per charge with the optional battery. The 5103 starts at $399 and is available for purchase now.
